We process all deletion requests within 30 calendar days of identity verification. You’ll receive an email confirmation once your data has been fully removed. Backup systems may take up to an additional 30 days.
No. Once your data has been permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered. This includes your family tree, uploaded photos, and account information. We strongly recommend exporting any important records before submitting your request.
Under Indian law (IT Act 2000, GST Act), certain records may need to be retained for legal and compliance purposes. We will clearly inform you of any data we are legally required to retain and for how long.
After you submit your request, we send a verification email to the address you provided. You’ll need to confirm your identity by responding to that email. This step protects you against unauthorised deletion of your data.
