Add ancestors and descendants up to any level, siblings and any relation level. Add relations — Father, Mother, Spouse, Son, Daughter, Brother and Sister — at any node; the system generates your family tree from your entries. A legend helps you understand the tree at a glance.

System-Defined Houses are created automatically based on family relationships: Mother House (your mother's house; for female users, their in-laws' Sasural after marriage), Grandmother House (your paternal grandmother's house), and Grand Maternal (Nani) House (your maternal grandmother's house). When a member is added to the family tree, Gripar places them in the correct house automatically.

Custom Houses let you create and manage your own houses with full control over membership. The House Owner can also define which apps and features are available within each house — tailoring every space to its members' needs.

Profile Management is organised into five sections:

Basic Information — Personal and basic details of the family member.
Education — Educational qualifications and academic details.
Employment — Professional experience, employment history, and career-related information.
Achievements — Awards, accomplishments, recognitions, and other notable achievements.
Image Gallery — A collection of photographs and memorable images associated with the profile.

Applications are linked to individual Houses and enabled by the House Owner based on the needs of its members.

Chat — A dedicated communication space for House members to interact and stay connected.
Family Budget — Track and manage family expenses, budgets, and financial activities in one place.
Kundali — Maintain and manage Kundali-related information within the House.

As Gripar grows, new apps can be introduced and integrated into Houses — keeping the platform flexible and continuously expanding.

Users can create and manage their own matrimony profile as well as profiles of eligible family members they own or manage.

Gripar provides a dedicated Content Management module that enables users to create, publish, and share different types of content with their family, Houses, or the wider Gripar community. It provides a simple way to document thoughts, experiences, knowledge, family events, and other important information in digital form.

Key Capabilities:
Create Content — Create and publish posts, articles, stories, updates, and other content according to your requirements.
Public Sharing — Share content publicly, allowing it to be viewed by users across the Gripar platform, subject to applicable platform rules and privacy settings.
House-Based Sharing — Share content with a specific House; access is restricted to members of that particular House.
Controlled Visibility — Determine the intended audience for your content — publicly or only within a selected family group or House.
Like and Comment — Interact with permitted content through likes and comments, enabling discussions and engagement around shared posts and articles.
Share Content — Share content with other users or permitted groups according to the sharing rules and access permissions applied to that content.
Privacy and Access Rules — Viewing, liking, commenting, and sharing can all be governed by the rules associated with the content and its intended audience.
